A 50 min barre intensity routine to get that intense burn and cardio feel and your core on fire.
Equipment: mat, a chair, 2 optional light dumbbells
Trainer: Emily
In this video, you will perform:
- cardio warm up : tip toe squats arms pressing back, standing torso twist, mini squats arms reaching to the side, curtsy to curtsy, curtsy lunge hold and side bend, squat hold with heel lifts,
- planks: plank walk out, high plank with knees in, high plank to side plank, side plank with torso twist, side plank with hip lifts, elbow plank press foward and back,
- arms: arms reaching forward, out to side & down, infinity sign arms forward, circle arms backward and forward, scarecrow bend and reach, static lunge with biceps curls, preacher curl, standing swimmer, triceps lifts and squeezes,
- lower body: high plank to lunge tap and back leg ext., single leg hinge and deadlift, single leg squat pulses, single leg squat hold, leg sweep out & back, static lunge arms reaching up, pretzel variations, hamstring curl, press thigh back,
- abs and obliques: single leg out and in, both legs out and in, criss cross crunches, hollow hold
- stretch.
